Ravens are known to be bad omens in various European folklore tales, they are prophetic animals symbolic of death, wisdom and the supernatural. It is an ideal subject for this series, as raven skulls symbolize the intersection between life and death.

This painting was done with acrylic paint on a 6x6in canvas paper. The painting has a semi-glossy finish.
